MediaWiki
This site is running MediaWiki 1.15.1 with a moderately customised configuration. If there are any particular features you think should be configured differently, please feel free to request it.
MediaWiki extensions
We have a reasonable selection of MediaWiki extensions installed. See Special:Version for details of what's currently available. If you think the site could benefit from a particular extension, drop a note on the requests page, and it will be considered (no promises, but if the extension looks stable enough, non-disruptive, and installs without a hassle, then there's a fair chance of it being added).
Policies
Please abide by both the BSD64 policies and the Wikipedia policies and guidelines.
Help pages
We have the full set of MediaWiki PD Help pages imported into the wiki. You can find them at Help:Contents and Category:Help. If you add or edit any pages in the Help namespace, your contributions will be considered as released into the public domain.
Templates
We have a reasonable starting set of templates, many imported from the MediaWiki site. Templates can be added as required. Please don't go mad — too many can be just as bad as too few, as they can become a disorganised mess which is hard to maintain. Where possible, all templates should be generic in function, and not specific to a particular page (subpages should be used for page-specific templates). See Category:Templates for what's currently available.
Talk pages
Please keep any talk on appropriate talk pages, so that the main article and information pages are kept clean and tidy.
